Spice Garden cooking Class
For a complete Myanmar cuisine dining experience, we offer cooking classes on location. Our classes include a half day as follows:
- 8:30 a.m. – We start the day by departing to a nearby market to shop for groceries, led by Spice Garden chefs Artish Mandal and Sarsoon. You will experience the vibrant nature of the core of Mandalay with a demonstration and explanation of products provided.
- 10:00 a.m. – The class begins as we return to the Spice Garden kitchen. As cooking books and aprons are distributed, we begin preparation for lunch.
- 12:00 p.m. (Noon) – As we approach completion of the class, an aperitif of Red Mountain white or a local Burmese wine, is offered in the kitchen.
- 12:15 a.m. – Top off the special cooking event by taking part in enjoying your own preparation for lunch.
